Meet Matthew Frable, The STCPA Director!
(email: mfrable@stcpa.org)

Matthew Frable, Artistic Director of San Tan Community Performing Arts, possesses three decades of choral, orchestral, and theatrical directing experience; including educational settings, community arts organizations, several congregations, and dramatic productions. Following a childhood filled with music, his educational emphasis led him to bachelor degrees in both Music Therapy and Music Education and later a Masters of Sacred Music from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. A keyboard instrumentalist of merit, Matthew has achieved the status of Colleague with the American Guild of Organists.

As an educator, Matthew's talents are employed as Seton Catholic Preparatory School’s music and drama teacher where he was the director of nine seasons of theatrical productions. No novice to dramatic performances, he has also performed in several collegiate and community theatrical productions, and has frequently fulfilled the role of theatrical musical director.

In addition to directing STCPA productions, and the Fountain Hills Community Choir, Matthew is the Director of Traditional Music Ministry at Christ’s Greenfield Lutheran Church in Gilbert. He has also coordinated many choral festivals and performances of choral masterworks with orchestral accompaniment.  San Tan Chorale enjoyed their first European tour this past summer singing in Salzburg, Austria and looks forward to future travels.  Matthew is excited about developing future creative endeavors within STCPA.  His family includes wife Betty and their three children.
